Our latest video of the week is as trippy as they come. “To Live & Die In Grantham”, from electronic dance artist Clark (known to his Mum as Chris Clark) is a transcendent work of art that takes us on a metaphorical journey to the desolate wasteland of our collective psyche. Directed by Christopher Hewitt, the visuals are striking in their simplicity, and collude with the song as if in a kind of wicked conspiracy.

The whole piece is decidedly throwback, evoking memories of such legendary dance acts as Underworld, Orbital and Way Out West, and taking us to a place of euphoria in a way that’s not often possible anymore. The track is off of Clark’s Flame Rave EP, out now on Warp records, and highly recommended. MB
